San Jose Sharks-L.A.Kings 04:00 2,40 3,80 2,40
Kings team scope: Los Angeles has lost two in a row and three of five after a 3-2 loss at the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday. Right wing Dustin Brown, who was moved up to the second line with Carter and left wing Dwight King, scored his first goal in 11 games. Center Nick Shore scored the other Kings goal. "It was good to see [Brown] score, and we got a goal from the Shore line and the Carter line, which was something we haven't had lately," coach Darryl Sutter told LAKingsInsider.com. Left wing Milan Lucic was ejected at 6:55 of the third period after he was called for roughing against Arizona defenseman Kevin Connauton. Lucic told LAKingsInsider.com that his left hand went numb after Connauton slashed him, but X-rays were negative. Enroth might get the start after Jonathan Quick made 21 saves in Arizona. Enroth is 3-3-1 with a 2.18 goals-against average and .930 save percentage but has not played since Jan. 4, when he allowed four goals on 33 shots in a 4-1 loss to the Colorado Avalanche.
Sharks team scope: San Jose has won seven of its past eight games after a 4-3 victory against the Minnesota Wild on Saturday in the first of a three-game homestand. The Sharks are in second place in the Pacific Division, eight points behind the Kings with a game in hand. "I look at the standings every day, and it's nice to be in a playoff spot," center Logan Couture said after he had an assist, a plus-1 rating and four shots on goal in 19:21 against Minnesota. "But you can never get comfortable. This race is so tight, you lose a couple in a row and you're out of the playoffs. We've got to continue to pick up points." San Jose has won four of its past five games at SAP Center but is 9-12-1 on home ice. Center Joe Thornton has an eight-game point streak (two goals, nine assists).

Columbus-Montreal Canad. 01:00 2,50 3,80 2,30
Canadiens team scope: Goaltender Mike Condon will start, coach Michel Therrien told the Canadiens website. Starting goalie Carey Price is expected to miss another three weeks with a lower-body injury that has kept him out since Nov. 25. The Canadiens are 7-16-2 since Price was injured. Montreal held an optional practice Sunday in Columbus after a 3-2 win at the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday. The victory ended a five-game losing streak. "I think it's important just to build off that and know we have to be a little bit better," Pacioretty told the Canadiens website. "You take the two points and you don't talk about what happened in the past; you just look ahead."
Blue Jackets team scope: Columbus did not practice Sunday after losing 3-2 in a shootout at the Boston Bruins on Saturday. It was the Blue Jackets' third straight loss (0-2-1). Goaltender Sergei Bobrovksy is out indefinitely because of his third groin injury of the season. "It's tough to put this in words, because I've been assured that there was no way he came back too early either time," general manager Jarmo Kekalainen told The Columbus Dispatch on Sunday. "He was fully healed, with full strength, full range of motion ... everything was back to normal." Coach John Tortorella is expected to miss the home-and-home series against Montreal after breaking two ribs during practice Friday. Tortorella did not travel to Boston with the Blue Jackets.

Florida-Toronto ML 01:30 2,00 3,80 3,00
Maple Leafs team scope: Goalie James Reimer will make his fourth start in a row. Forward Nick Spaling is ready to return from an upper-body injury that sidelined him the past 16 games. "I think Nick is in unless something happens," coach Mike Babcock told the Maple Leafs website. Spaling was activated from injured reserve Monday and practiced on a line with center Peter Holland and left wing Joffrey Lupul at BB&T Center. Forward James van Riemsdyk (broken foot) was placed on IR; he has not played since Jan. 9 and is expected to be out until at least late February. The Maple Leafs' fathers are with them for their two games in Florida; they play the Tampa Bay Lightning on Wednesday. Forward Brad Boyes, who played the past two seasons with Florida, will face his former teammates for the first time since signing with Toronto after a professional tryout at training camp.
Panthers team scope: Goalie Roberto Luongo will make his third start in a row. Forward Brandon Pirri, a healthy scratch for the past two games, might return to the lineup, coach Gerard Gallant told the Panthers website. Defenseman Willie Mitchell, out since Jan. 18 with an undisclosed injury, did not practice Monday. Florida became the first team in more than 25 years to defeat the Stanley Cup finalists from the previous season on consecutive nights with home wins Friday against the champion Chicago Blackhawks and Saturday against the runner-up Lightning. Gallant, however, hopes the Panthers are not looking ahead to their time away. "We've got the All-Star break coming up, but we've got to make sure we are ready to work," Gallant said.

Calgary-Nashville Predat. 03:30 2,35 3,80 2,45
Predators team scope: Nashville will try for a sweep of its four-game Canadian road trip after a late goal by James Neal was the difference in a 2-1 victory against the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday. The Predators have won three in a row for the first time in more than three months. "It was very crucial, not only looking at the standings," Rinne said of the victory, "but crucial mentally and as a team for our confidence and the way you feel about yourself and your game." Goalie Carter Hutton, who shut out the Minnesota Wild 3-0 in his most recent start, could get the call in the second of back-to-back games.
Flames team scope: Calgary spent Tuesday resting up for its final game before the All-Star break after going 1-3-1 on a five-game trip that ended with losses to the Carolina Hurricanes and Dallas Stars on consecutive nights. The Flames spent most of each game playing from behind, something captain Mark Giordano said they can't do if they want to be successful. "We got to start from the get-go next game," he said after the 2-1 loss at Dallas on Monday. "We have one more before the break that we have to have, and then we'll get some rest and go from there."
